2. Introduction
Shilla Millennium Park showcases the time-honored history and culture of the Shilla Kingdom through immense, dynamic special effects, as well as mounted martial arts & stunt performances.
 Fantasy
Welcome to a fantasy world where you can take a time machine to go back to more than 1,200 years ago during the Shilla Kingdom.
It is not yet another amusement or theme park offering so-and-so rides and performances.
The park, devoted to the theme, captivates you with wonder service of personnel in Shilla costumes, mammoth open-air performances,
based on the state-of-the-art technologies, and historically ascertained Shilla houses.
Seek out adventures into the past and create pleasant memories in the Culture and Arts Village.
 Interactive attractions
Stimulating interactive attractions that arouse all five senses. Performances provide much more than just visual stimulus.
They are directed by Kim Jae-hyeong to present the audience with a sense of interactive participation through the use of a kind of open system
making it possible for viewers to actively participate.
The Culture and Arts Village also offers various interactive attractions to experience the craftsmanship and housing culture of Shilla.
 Historical discoveries
Ancient Shilla houses are restored, faithful to the tiniest details of historical facts.
The construction is based on the test dealing with housing in samguk sagi (History of the Three Kingdoms) and opinions of prestigious advisors.
The tiles of the eaves and other parts of the houses are derived from the patterns found in the National Museum in Gyeongju.
Educational effects
Studios, craft workshops and houses of Shilla bone-rank holders cater to those seeking more specific and in-depth experiences
for both education and entertainment.

3. Day performance “ Secret of Heavenly Chest “
“Discovering the secret of a chest that descended from heaven 1,500 years ago” is about
Hwarang (Flower Knight) Misirang who protected the 1,000-year-long Shilla Kingdom,
defeating China’s Tang Dynasty with the three “heavenly treasures” of the sword of fire, armor
& helmet that couldn’t be pierced, and the mysterious piri (flute) called “manpasikjeok”
in Korean, during the reign of King Jinji.
Special effects and stunts performed on the mammoth outdoor stage are enthralling.
Tears of the Queen
The “Tragic love story about Shilla Queen Seondeok and a Baekje general” is about the love between a Shilla princess and a Baekje general, which was stronger than death.
The performance features a sad love story of Seokdeok, the first queen of
the Shilla Kingdom, with beautiful melodies and fantastic lighting effects.
The romantic performance is magnificent and touching.
Art of the Hwarang
Martial arts of the Hwarang, the Flower Knight, who served as the pillars
of the 1,000-year-long kingdom,are performed in the Hwarang Arena.
“Art of the Hwarang” captivates you with mounted martial art performances
upholding the spirit and significance of the Hwarang,
dating back to about 1,500 years ago.

6. Ragung
(Resort & Spa)
The Ragung, meaning “Shilla Palace,” is a traditional deluxe hotel built on an area of 16,500 square meters.
The Ragung, with a floor space of 1,650 square meters consists of 16 separate houses that are connected with corridors.
The 16 houses, interlocking with each other, form a unique structure, with a total length of more than 100 meters.
It is also the first time that an outdoor hot spring has been incorporated into the inner court of a traditional Korean house.
As soon as you enter the gate, you will feel like a king.
The Ragung is a place for rest as well as to dwell in history, creating new values for the word, “rest.”
No doubt, the Ragung is the first architectural attempt to introduce hot springs to a traditional Korean house
and has become the new standard for Korea’s deluxe hotels.
