Classes at camp Beach Bound – water cycle, currents, waves, and weather Jetty Rocks – adaptations of plants and animals in harsh intertidal environments Kelp Connections – discover how ocean animals and humans use kelp every day Beach Afternoon – Play on the beach and swim in the ocean.

Classes at camp Estuary Exploration – Learn about tides, zones, and explore the largest coastal estuary in So. CA. Sea Survival – Variety of outdoor survival techniques. Teambuilding – build self-esteem, group cooperation, communication, and trust.

Cabins Students will be placed with at least one of their friend choices. Once cabins have been assigned there will be no changes. Cabins sleep 12 to 16 people. At least 2 chaperones will be present in each cabin.

Meals The food is fabulous at Camp Surf!
Dietary restrictions are accommodated Meals are served family style. Please make sure any dietary restrictions have been noted. There has never been a case of starvation at camp…

Behavior Poor behavior at school will exclude a child from attending camp.

Chaperones Please sign the chaperone sign-up list
Once we have an exact count of students attending we will know how many chaperones are required Chaperones MUST be the same gender as their camp attending child Attend volunteer training class Fingerprint clearance Cost $200
