Connoquenessing Creek in the City of Butler, taken on 4/16/05 at approx hours. The blue-colored bridge in the background is the Rt. 356 Viaduct bridge. It is the lower limit of the approved trout water section. There are three stocking points on Connoquenessing Creek within the Butler City limits. They receive a large number of trout due to the high angling pressure on the opening weekend, and steady pressure throughout the spring season.

6. INTERACTION tunnels, dams Kids Created Kingdom Ewing Park Trail
Restoration on the trail that winds around the main recreational area of Ewing Park is being made possible by the work of volunteers and a grant from the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The project will consist of general cleanup and maintenance, plant classification, placement of identification plaques, and a compilation of the history of the trail, which was built by the WPA during the Great Depression.
