2 Roger Williams Believed that Native Americans should be treated fairly and paid for their land instead of it being taken from them. This view went against Massachusetts bay since it didn't support new England's way and caused him to be banished. After he was banished from Massachusetts Bay he founded the providence plantation in 1636 or what is now known as Rhode island.

3 Thomas Hooker Believed god’s favor needed to be re-earned by men
Part of founding Connecticut Privilege of election belonged to the people Wanted Puritan worshippers to have suffrage

4 Anne Hutchinson Hutchinson believed that salvation only occurs in people God chooses Also, that you are able to have a direct relationship with God She held private prayer meetings in which both men and women were able to attend She was put on trial for heresy and sedition Anne Hutchinson was banished from Massachusetts Bay She later found the colony of Rhode Island
