1. Introducing EtherCAT from Watlow
Watlow’s RMZ4, is the latest addition to the Watlow EZ-ZONE RM family. The RMZ4 is compatible with all other modules within the RM family and self discovers all existing modules within the system making it a seamless integration into your temperature control/logic system. The integrated USB port allows for access to the standard bus for ease of configuration and commissioning. Incorporating legacy communication protocols (Modbus®, DeviceNET™) provides internal bridging to EtherCAT. In addition, the RMZ4 is EtherCAT ETG compliant.
