GENERAL EDUCATION ENABLE A STUDENT WITH A DISBILITY TO BE EDUCATED WITHIN THE GENERAL EDUCATION CLASS WITH NON-DISABLED PEERS. PERMITS DIFFERENT INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNS TO ENABLE THE DISABLED STUDENT TO RECEIVE SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES IN THE GENERAL EDUCATION CLASSROOM. INCLUDE RELATED SERVICES

Special Education Teacher Support Services
Specially designed to support the participation of the student with disability in the general education classroom. -services are designed to be flexible providing direct as well as indirect services. -direct service addresses educational needs and not to provide academic instruction -indirect service focuses on adjusting the learning environment and/or modifying and adapting instruction techniques to meet the child’s needs

COLLABORATIVE TEAM TEACHING
CONSISTS OF ONE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER ONE GENERAL EDUCATION TEACHER AN INTEGRATED SERVICE THROUGH WHICH STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES ARE EDUCATED WITH AGE APPROPRIATE PEERS IN THE GENERAL EDUCATION CLASSROOM. STUDENTS ARE EDUCATED ALONGSIDE THEIR NON-DISABLED PEERS WITH FULL-TIME SUPPORT OF SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER

SPECIAL CLASS 12:1 SERVES STUDENTS WHOSE ACADEMIC AND/OR BEHAVIORAL NEEDS REQUIRE SPECIALLY DESIGNED INSTRUCTION WHICH CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED IN A SELF-CONTAINED SETTING. ONE FULL-TIME SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER NO MORE THAN 12 OR 15 STUDENTS

SPECIAL CLASS 12:1:1 SERVES STUDENTS WHOSE ACADEMIC AND/OR BEHAVIORAL MANAGEMENT NEEDS INTERFERE WITH INSTRUCTION ONE FULL-TIME SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER ONE FULL-TIME PARAPROFESSIONAL NO MORE THAN 12 STUDENTS PER CLASS

SERVES STUDENTS WHO MANAGEMENT NEEDS ARE SEVERE AND CHRONIC REQUIRING INTENSIVE CONSTANT SUPERVISION, INTERVENTION AND BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT ONE FULL-TIME SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER ONE FULL-TIME PARAPROFESSIONAL NO MORE THAN 8 STUDENTS PER CLASS SPECIAL CLASS 8:1:1

SPECIAL CLASS 6:1:1 SERVES STUDENTS WITH VERY HIGH NEEDS IN MOST OR ALL NEED AREAS, INCLUDING ACADEMIC SOCIAL, PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT, AGGRESSIVE, SELF-ABUSIVE, ETC. ONE FULL-TIME SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER ONE FULL-TIME PARAPROFESSIONAL NO MORE THAN 6 STUDENTS PER CLASS

SPECIAL CLASS 12:1:4 SERVES STUDENTS WITH SEVERE AND MULTIPLE DISABILITIES WITH LIMITED LANGUAGE, ACADEMIC AND INDEPENDENT FUNCTIONING. A PROGRAM FOR REHABILITATION AND TREATMENT. ONE FULL-TIME SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER ONE FULL-TIME PARAPROFESSIONAL NO MORE THAN 12 STUDENTS PER CLASS

HOME SCHOOLING -intended to be temporary
-placement based on general education performance indicator or recent IEP -students are given a minimum of 5 hours per week for elementary students 10 hours per week for secondary school students

HOSPITAL SCHOOLING -provides individualized or small group instruction over a five hour period daily -Following discharge the IEP team decides placement of student
