30 what have JUMPSTART corps members said after their service?

31 I feel like I can do much more than I could have before Jumpstart.
I learned exactly what I want to do as a career, and broadened my horizons through what I have been able to do in Jumpstart. The highlight of my year was seeing the growth in the children I worked with, and just how thankful and appreciative the families were. I learned how to problem-solve, adapt and talk through things with my team. I learned how to organize myself and manage my time so much more effectively. I learned how to balance everything I had going on. I feel like I can do much more than I could have before Jumpstart. I met my best friend in Jumpstart. I learned so much about myself, and am really proud of who I am. I can’t believe the relationships I made with the kids, the families, my team and other CM’s.

32 Sometimes it was hard to balance everything, but I’m so glad I stuck with it. It was worth every minute to see the impact that we had, and to see how much I have grown and learned about myself.
