Muscular tissue; the muscular divided into three types:
its highly cellular , vascular and innervated tissue accomplished by specialized muscle fibers ( myocytes) the muscular divided into three types: 1. smooth muscle. 2.skeletal muscle 3.cardiac muscle. All these three type can be distinguishable by its size ,shape, location of nuclei within ,type of innervations. salah

1.smooth muscle.(involuntary)
The muscle cells(fiber) in longitudinal section are tightly packed fusiform with centrally located nuclei . In transverse section show circular homogenous appearance only the widest profiles show nuclei. Dr.salah

2.skeletal muscle (voluntary);
Composed of long cylinder- shaped bundles of parallel arranged muscle fibers , the muscle cells has many nuclei within each muscle which peripherally positioned (satellite shaped) , in transverse section showing striations through the body of each cell( actine &myosin myofliments). Transverse section the muscle cells & appear irregular polygon in shape &C.T. Show nuclei of fibroblast Dr.salah

3.cardiac muscle. It resemble to the skeletal muscle, so it has multinucleated and showing striation appearance, but each cardiac muscle fiber have few nuclei (1-2) centrally placed and the muscle fibers are short and frequently branched, binding to adjacent fibers, and the most important feature of this type is the presence of dark stained transverse line these lines are intercalated disks Drsalaha
