Bayesian Network Model (LaDeau et al) Using long-term data to explore multiple drivers of nitrogen flux and retention Model allows us to learn about drivers of watershed N retention and make predictions (or not) The data and the coupling of nitrogen dynamics in a hierarchical modeling framework highlights what controls the flux of inorganic material from watersheds to the Chesapeake Bay which has developed a total maximum daily load (TMDL) program.
