Credited as being discovered by mycologist Michael Valentine.
First seen at Moor Piece woodland near Bashall.
Our specimen was discovered by Maurice Pledger.
Confirmed identification by Dr A Martyn Ainsworth mycologist at Kew Garden, who has requested our specimen is dried and sent to them.
Maurice has sent specimen to them.
