Romans 7:18-25 The flesh is not naturally sinful, but there are fleshly appetites that men often seek to satisfy in unlawful ways. Resisting this temptation often places us in conflict with our own flesh.
2
“This Body” One of the greatest differences between believers and unbelievers is their attitude toward the physical body.
3
“This Body” Is not me. Is not mine. Is given to me for a purpose.
To the Evolutionist, the body is all there is. “It’s my body and I can do with it as I please.” Is not me. Genesis 2:7 Job 4:17-19; 2 Cor. 5:1 Is not mine. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Is given to me for a purpose. 1 Corinthians 6:20 Philippians 1:19-21 “…Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.” Unbelievers see no purpose to life.

If This Body Belongs to God…
I must not abuse it. 1 Cor. 3:17 I must use it to please Him. “ You received from us how you ought to walk and to please God.” (1 Th. 4:1) I should not complain about what He allows to happen. “I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.” (Acts 21:13) I must give an account for my use of it. Lazarus (John 11:4) Paul (2 Cor. 12:9-10) Job 2 Corinthians 5:9-10

Why Should I Use This Body to Glorify God?
The Unbeliever The Believer Sees nothing beyond this life! (1 Cor. 15:32) Expects a better and eternal body to replace this one. 2 Corinthians 4:16-5:10
