Our mission: To improve the quality of public service in Colorado & the Rocky Mountain West To offer an excellent program of professional education To prepare public and nonprofit managers for leadership in a rapidly changing environment

4 SPA History GSPA founded on Boulder campus in 1972
Moved to UCCS and Denver mid-1970’s First UCCS MPA graduates 1975 Consolidated Graduate School of Public Affairs July 1, 1997 Added hosting of MCJ degree Fall 1997 Added BACJ & became School of Public Affairs Fall 2007 First BACJ graduates December 2008

14 Acknowledgements The accomplishments of our school and our ability to actualize the many opportunities that are in front of us are due to a dedicated faculty & staff, talented students, a collaborative campus, engaged alumni, and a supportive community. We are grateful for all of these. The investments the Leadership Team is making in SPA are deeply appreciated.
