This is not a wish for God’s glory to be realized
We often pray that non-believers would see the glory of God and become believers – Psalm 19:1-4; 139:1-16
The reality is, people do see God’s glory, they just suppress the truth! – Romans 1:18-25

This is an affirmation of God’s glory!
This is how prayer begins and never ends in Heaven! – Revelation 4:8-11; Revelation 5:11-14
Nowhere is the glory of God more conspicuous than in the coming of the Lord Jesus! – Hebrews 1:3

8. Peace on earth Jesus came to bring peace to the earth
Peace with God – Isaiah 59:1-2; Romans 3:23
Peace with man – Matthew 5:9; James 3:13-18
Inner Peace – John 14:27; 16:33; Philippians 4:6-8

9. Peace on earth Jesus IS our peace!
He has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing in his flesh the law – Ephesians 2:14-18
He has made peace through his blood, shed on the cross – Colossians 1:20; Isaiah 53:5

10. Good will towards men God’s good will is that all men be saved
God sent Jesus to SAVE us! – John 3:16; 1 Timothy 2:1-3
God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance – 2 Peter 3:9; 1 Timothy 1:12-17

11. Good will towards men God’s good will is that we be joyful
Jesus came to bring us JOY – John 10:10; 15:9-11; 17:13
Be joyful always, pray continually, giving thanks in all situations for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus – Thessalonians 5:16-18; Philippians 4:4
