7. Read the manual thoroughly yourself first, and make abundant notes in the margins.

8. Gather and prepare the necessary materials.

9. Arrive early to pray and prepare your classroom.

10. Do not plan to have students looking at their manuals the entire time.

11. Familiarize yourself thoroughly with the interactive elements running through the lessons in the manual.

12. Be ready to pause and ask for feedback if you feel that your students don’t understand something.
