Web servers have an interface which makes it easier for the end user to operate. The interface hides complex processes so anyone can use the web service. Available over the internet for easy access

Web sites support humans; Web services support software. A Web site represents a group of Web resources that are accessed by humans, and a Web service are Web resources that are designed to be accessed by applications.
