IT is Transforming at Historic Speed
WORKLOADS 20% CAGR Public Cloud Workloads On Premises Workloads 4 1 220M WORKLOADS 63% CAGR Workloads (M) 3% CAGR Sources: (1) IDC (2) Gartner (3) Morgan Stanley CIO Survey (4) Cisco Cloud Index
8
Cloud Transformation is Challenging
Complex Customers say the #1 challenge with their cloud transformation is complexity Expensive 80% experience cloud bills up-to 3X more than expected Skills Gap Only 14% of organizations feel they have prepared their talent pool for the cloud Risk The combination of the skills gap and complexity creates risk.
9
Your Challenges along the Journey
People Learning new skills Mapping business challenges to tangible activities Process Applications moving to micro-services CI/CD lifecycle management Technology New tooling to solve for business challenges Cloud services and scalable platforms introduce new options, with new types of complexity
10
The foundation is visibility and understanding of your entire estate
A Thoughtful Journey The foundation is visibility and understanding of your entire estate Assessing 1 Plan, migrate and place/size the right workloads in the right place at the right time Planning & Implementing 2 Continuously tune to deliver the desired state, balancing cost performance and compliance Managing & Optimizing 3
