4. NICE 2015 Refer if they: have CXR findings that suggest lung cancer
are aged 40 and over with unexplained haemoptysis

6. NICE 2015 Urgent chest X-ray Aged 40 and over
2 or more unexplained symptoms or
1 or more of the following unexplained symptoms + ever smoked:
cough
fatigue
shortness of breath
chest pain
weight loss
appetite loss

7. NICE 2015 Urgent chest X-ray Aged 40 and over
persistent or recurrent chest infection
finger clubbing
supraclavicular lymphadenopathy
persistent cervical lymphadenopathy
chest signs consistent with lung cancer
thrombocytosis

9. NICE 2015 Refer for mesothelioma Urgent chest X-ray
if CXR suggests mesothelioma
Urgent chest X-ray
Aged 40 and over +
chest signs compatible with pleural disease
