Biography 3D Modeler I am currently a 2D stereo conversion artist at Legend 3D, where I have demonstrated the necessary technical, artistic and time management skills required to competently complete all assigned tasks as scheduled, ensuring the fulfillment of deadlines. My duties include using proprietary software that allows me to utilize my eye for detail making extraordinary visual effects come to life on screen. I have also collaborated with the team at Legend 3D to implement strategies to assist other artists to succeed in their endeavors.

Experience I have been working for Legend 3D, as a 2D stereo artist since Sept I have had the opportunity to work on several major motion pictures such as: Doctor Strange, Fantastic Beast and Where To Find Them, Alice and Wonderland Through The Looking Glass, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Passengers, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, Pete’s Dragon, Ghostbusters, Ben-Hur, and Gods of Egypt. Working in the Entertainment Industry has enabled me to have a deep understanding of the “Industry Pipeline”, which has made me into a strong asset and a fundamental part of Legend 3D. I have an aptitude for learning new programs and software such as the proprietary software at legend and others such as Nuke and Mocha.

Education Prior to joining Legend 3D, I have always had a fondness for video games and wanted to be part of creating beautiful worlds and design amazing things to make a game world come to life. I decided to become a student at Mohawk College where I took Graphic Design: Integration Animation, developing the fundamental knowledge and skills of 3D design and practices. I discovered that I had an aptitude and an eye for detail when using programs such as 3DS Max, Mudbox and Photoshop. I was able to stand out from my former classmates when given the opportunity to create simplistic designs, choosing to challenge myself and my passion for realistic textured designs. I also improved my skills by learning independently on line and through other resources which enabled me to become a tutor for other students as well. I have a passion for digital modelling that always makes me want to learn more techniques to make my projects more visually appealing to the eye. I graduated from Mohawk College in Spring 2015, where I was one of the few graduates fortunate to find work in the entertainment industry.

I am writing to you in regards to the One Modeler Apprentice position at Ubisoft Toronto. This cover letter is to introduce myself and to briefly outline why I have the knowledge and skills to be the asset your team is looking for. I am currently working in the entertainment industry as a 2D Stereo Conversion Artist at Legend 3D, responsible for ensuring that the assets assigned be delivered and submitted with skill and efficiency. In this field, I have demonstrated the capabilities of managing high volume assets, and developing advanced techniques propelling me to assignments with higher difficulty and more complexity. Additionally I have assisted with the training and mentoring of new artists, exhibiting the required patience and understanding in this mentorship. I have a 3-year educational background in 3D Modelling and Animation which has given me the experience to learn and being proficient in different areas of 3D design, such as creating high complex models, rigging, texturing, lighting and sculpting.
