Fixing your grant proposal
Combine introduction, methods, anticipated results, budget, timeline, and bibliography into a SINGLE google doc Name that google doc according to instructions on grant app guidelines DO NOT delete the other documents. They are a track record of yoru work this semester Bibliography section of grant proposal should not include annotations (1-2 sentence description) – only the citations. The section can be called: Bibliography, References, Literature Cited Proposal should have a title, your name, and the date at the top

Bold (or something similar) section titles, like “Introduction” and “Methods” Make the overall formatting of the proposal look nicer Add a photo of the species or device Clean up your tables (white space, alignment, etc…) Budget justification should be in bullet point or numbered form (not paragraph form)

To do a peer review Review “judging criteria” on OURI website first
Read the proposal once through with out making any comments or doing any scoring Read through again and write notes/edits to the author If you don’t understand a section If they are missing something important Misspellings If a sentence is awkwardly worded Read the scoring rubric to remind yourself of what the proposal should aim to achieve Score the proposal using the rubric Return both the proposal and rubric to Dr. Meredith
