7. Community Service Hours
10 hours per school year required
Excess hours for 6th and 7th graders will carry over to next year
Community Service Log is due by May 1, 2016

National History Day:
Initial VVMS judging week of December 14
District History Day Fair on January 20, 2016
Riverside County History Day Competition on March 12, 2016
Eastern Municipal Water District Writing Contest (8th grade, Mrs. Ornelas)
16 entries were submitted in November.
Winners will be announced early in 2016.

Gabriel, Kaylee, Angela, Sashi, and Leilani attended a Planning Commission meeting to receive recognition for their PBL project on the World Logistics Center!
