2. This week take a good portrait picture of someone you know
This week take a good portrait picture of someone you know. Let your subject know you are taking a picture and try and get one of the following aspects into your portrait.
1. Fill the frame with your subject, getting in close on the eyes on your upper line of thirds

3. 2. Place your subject on one of the third lines with a background free from distraction.

4. 3. Don't limit it to one person, and try to catch some emotion in your shot.
Be creative, remember kids and babies make great subjects.

5. Try some black and white.
This week, take as many pictures as possible of people. Use your imagination and try something new.
