2 Update and Clarification: NIH Continuous Submission Policy
The policy has NOT changed The list of currently eligible reviewers can be found on the NIH Continuous Submission page, via NOTICE below.  Continuous submission eligibility can be viewed in the reviewer's eRA Commons Personal Profile, in the Reviewer Information section.  FAQ’s

Reminder! Revised Policy: Descriptions on the Use of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Researchers on RPPR For all projects reporting graduate students and/or postdoctoral participants in Section D., describe in Section B. whether your institution has established Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for those participants. Do not include the actual IDP Include information to describe how IDPs are used, if they are used, to help manage the training for those individuals. This information is not required for AHRQ grantees.

4 Reminder! New Policy Eliminates Most Appendix Material for NIH/AHRQ/NIOSH Applications 
Now in effect! Allowable Appendix Materials For all applications: Blank informed consent/assent forms Blank surveys, questionnaires, and/or data collection instruments Other items only if they are specified in the FOA as allowable For applications proposing clinical trials (unless the funding opportunity announcement (FOA) provides other instructions for these materials): Clinical trial protocols Investigator's brochure from an Investigational New Drug (IND) application, as appropriate for the goals of the research proposed in the application. No other items are allowed in the Appendix.  Simply relocating disallowed materials to other parts of the application will result in a noncompliant application (NOT-OD ).

6 NSF Pilot Requiring Use of Spreadsheet for Identifying Collaborators and Other Affiliations
EFFECTIVE April 24, 2017, the National Science Foundation (NSF) will initiate a new pilot requiring the use of a spreadsheet template for identifying Collaborators and Other Affiliations information for Principal Investigators (PIs), co-PIs, and other senior project personnel identified on proposals. The new pilot will standardize Collaborators and Other Affiliations information across the Foundation. Pilot will only be for FastLane proposal submissions. Grants.gov proposal submissions will continue to follow the instructions in NSF Grants.gov Application Guide. The template and associated instructions may also be accessed directly at:
