Reopening of PPS Provider Network
“…DOH will be reopening the MAPP provider network tool so that PPS can add partners to their networks for performance purposes. The network reopening period began on 10/23 and will close on 11/20 at 4 pm. PPS will be able to add new providers, but will NOT be able to delete providers that are already in network.

Discussed difficulty creating a formulaic approach to distribute funds to partners Created a Subcommittee to devise a method that fairly distributes funds to partners Will be approved at Finance Committee, PAC Exec, and PPS Board

Audit and Compliance The Audit and Compliance Committee will be meeting in November to begin planning a CP and CoC training strategy. The committee will be utilizing the survey data results to guide the training strategy.

Fraud Waste and Abuse Policy Conflict of Interest Policy The Committee will be developing these policies in November for December approval

Workforce Coordinating Council (WCC)
The NYSDOH has pushed back all workforce milestone deadlines to DY1Q4 (March 2016). Currently working on finding a workforce vendor to assist the PMO with the creation of a training strategy. Created an RFI for any vendors interested in assisting the PMO with the implementation of training strategies. Once the RFI is approved by WCC members, it will be sent out to interested vendors. Created and disseminated a Workforce Readiness Assessment survey to our participating partners. Once completed we will assess the current and future workforce state of all of our AMCH PPS partners.

Next meeting will be held on Thursday, October 29th, from 2-3pm Agenda items include: Review and approve workforce strategy implementation plan Review and approve RFI for training services WCC updates

Consumer & Community Affairs Committee (CCAC)
6 CCAC meetings have been held Upcoming community forum Continue to engage partners and receive input from members regarding effective consumer and community engagement Highlighting community events to engage consumers and inform them about DSRIP and it’s purpose

Cultural Competency and Health Literacy
Milestone - Finalize a cultural competency /health literacy strategy signed off by the PPS board that will: Identify priority groups experiencing health disparities Identify key factors to improve access to quality primary, behavioral health, and preventive health care Define plans for two-way communication with the population and community groups through specific community forums Identify assessments and tools to assist patients with self-management of conditions (considering cultural, linguistic and literacy factors) Identify community-based interventions to reduce health disparities and improve outcomes. Final draft to be reviewed and approved Dec 1st by the CCHLC

180 surveys distributed as of 9/30/15: 49 surveys completed by 10/27 34 surveys started but not yet submitted 97 surveys not started Wealth of useful information being analyzed. Substantial interest / commitment to engage in various projects.
