2. DRESS CHRISTMAS TREE
In Poland we dress christmas tree in December. We decorate ourselves glass balls, beads, sweets and a star.

3. SHARING WAFERS
At Christmas Eve we share wafers.

4. TWELVE DISHES ON THE TABLE
The twelve dishes are, e.g. fish, borsch, herrings and mess.

5. THE EMPTY PLATE
On the table there is an empty plate for an unexpected guest.

6. HAY UNDER TABLE-CLOTH
There is always hay under white table-cloth. We sit down on the table, when the first star shines at the dark sky.

7. PRESENTS FROM SANTA CLAUS
Santa Claus brings presents to polite children.

8. THE CRIB
In Poland in churches in December there are cribs. In Christmas Eve at about 12 o’clock Christians go to church.
