A student fails any courses while enrolled in MOWR?
What happens if…? A student fails any courses while enrolled in MOWR? The course and grade is posted to the college and high school transcript A decision will have to be made by the college, parents/guardian of the student, high school counselor, and curriculum AP to determine if the student is allowed to continue.
22
Things to Consider… MOWR vs AP
Some students will take both: AP and MOWR Your high school might not offer the AP course you want/need: MOWR often does AP course might be year long or 2 semester course so no “time” for AP course in your HS Schedule MOWR courses are 1 semester AP courses include heavy graded coursework MOWR includes heavy coursework but not as much is graded (what kind of student are you ?) Do you count on projects or presentations for good grades vs just test grades ? AP includes more graded coursework than most college courses.
