1 Jesus didn’t commit, because he knew
John 2:13-25 Jesus didn’t commit, because he knew

2 Joh 2:13-25 (1) And the Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. (14) And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting. (15) And when He had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the temple, also the sheep and the oxen. And He poured out the money-changers' money and overthrew the tables. (16) And He said to those who sold doves, Take these things away from here. Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise.

3 Joh 2:13-25 (2) And His disciples remembered that it was written, "The zeal of Your house has eaten Me up." (18) Then the Jews answered and said to Him, What sign do you show us, since you do these things? (19) Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up. (20) Then the Jews said, This temple was forty-six years building, and will you rear it up in three days? (21) But He spoke of the temple of His body.

4 Joh 2:13-25 (3) Therefore when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said. (23) And as He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, at the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the miracles which He did. (24) But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all (25) and did not need that anyone should testify of man. For He knew what was in man.

5 INTRODUCTION Let us give praise to the Lord!
The Jewish Passover is closely tied to Easter It is more important to live according to the Easter than to celebrate Easter itself.

6 Church is Christ’s Body
Jesus analogized His body as the Holy Temple We worship God through Jesus as the Holy Temple “Do you (all) not know that you (all) are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you (all)? “ 1Co 3:16 The church is: Composed of believers of Christ, in Jesus’ name The glorious resurrected body of Christ

7 Cleaning of the Temple Mar 11: And they came to Jerusalem. And entering into the temple, Jesus began to cast out those who bought and sold in the temple. And He overthrew the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold doves. (16) And He would not allow any to carry a vessel through the temple. (17) And He taught, saying to them, Is it not written, "My house shall be called the house of prayer for all nations?" But you have made it a den of thieves.

11 Words to the Wise 1Ch 28:9 And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind. For Jehovah searches all hearts and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever.

12 Conclusions Give praise and glory to God the Father for the Son Jesus
