3 His Legacy His father was a famous artist, but Rodolphe was blind and couldn’t follow in his footsteps. Instead created a series of picture stories. Is known as virtual inventor of the comic strip. First strip released in 1827. Became a teacher, author, cartoonist, and caricature artist.

Luke travels around the country taking place in events that happened during the Old West and meeting people from that time. Humor: based on cliches and stereotypes.
