We want to have a more dynamic website & to generate visibility for Priority Gender Equality We also wish for our website to become a window for gender equality projects in Sectors, Field Offices, Institutes & Bureaux PRIORITY GENDER EQUALITY

Inform the general public of our activities, research and events Share information, news and publications related to gender equality & women’s empowerment Promote the work of UNESCO regarding Priority Gender Equality PRIORITY GENDER EQUALITY

By themes By events By resources (publications, tools, conventions, GFP Network documents, etc.) By features (special events, partnerships, etc.) Gender equality to be mainstreamed on the UNESCO website PRIORITY GENDER EQUALITY

The goal is to have all projects & content related to gender equality on our website So basically, we would like to collaborate with you! Everyone is invited to send in information We wish to create a more global approach PRIORITY GENDER EQUALITY

What to provide for social media Areas of collaboration for GFPs: Tweets Polls for Facebook Videos, photos & links Put ODG/GE + ERI teams in touch with celebrities and/or leading experts that you know & who could collaborate with UNESCO (videos, live chats & Tweets, etc.) NO Facebook, Twitter or other social media accounts to be created! Keep the ERI team informed! PRIORITY GENDER EQUALITY

12 Social media Tweets Every Tweet consists of a maximum of 140 characters; The goal is not to promote a project, but to share the concrete insights of the project itself; Content is key! When creating a Tweet, be creative! Ask yourself what information is sharable – what is something about gender equality & women’s empowerment that people would care about? * Remember to send it to ODG/GE * PRIORITY GENDER EQUALITY
