Project of the Week (P.O.W.): The 7 Natural Wonders of the World in-class assignment is due Friday.
Research: Choose a character/god/goddess/mythological monster to research in preparation for our Greek style Wax Museum…tentatively scheduled for Friday 9/29. Try using a kid-friendly search engine like KidRex.org , kiddle.co , or KidzSearch.com or view teacher webpages for more links. Books can be checked out in school library, public library, and classroom.

A note from the teachers
It was wonderful meeting all of our students’ families at Open House. We feel so lucky to have such wonderful parents supporting our kids this year! A great big THANK YOU for all of the wish list items that were sent in to our classrooms.
We plan to hold a Greek style Wax Museum where students dress and speak in character for a roving audience at school. Students should start thinking of the character/god/goddess/mythological monster they would like to portray and begin researching information. Look for more info this week…tentative date is Friday 9/29.
Please continue to study multiplication facts nightly to ensure confidence and success. Our goal is 25 problems in 1 minute and 40 seconds to achieve mastery. Try using mathfactspro.com or mathfactscafe.com for nightly fluency practice. Everyone will test on the 9’s times tables this Friday.
