Ofsted Inspectors gather evidence about the use of the pupil premium in relation to the following key issues: the level of pupil premium funding received by the school in the current academic year and previous academic years; how the school has spent the pupil premium and why it has decided to spend it in the way it has; and any differences made to the learning and progress of disadvantaged pupils as shown by performance data and inspection evidence.

Level of Pupil Premium We received £205,000 for the academic year 2014/15. Throughout the year, we evaluate the impact of the interventions. At the end of each year, we complete a detailed breakdown of impact, costs and cost per pupil (pupil premium).

Evaluation All of the interventions that we employed in were successful, so we will continue to use these to improve outcomes for the academic year.

Long Term We will also be looking to enhance the use of pupil premium funding in by: employing a speech and language teacher; employing another teacher in Reception so that 50 children are taught by three teachers; and employing a school counsellor. We aim to ensure that any gaps that exist between PP and non-PP children closes at a much earlier stage in school.
