1
Have the conference speaker begin with a testimony of how through the absence of his/her parents, the lack of godly values or by living in a corrupt neighborhood
2
Took him/her to begin and live a life of unrestrained and sinful sexuality. And how an encounter with Jesus healed and restored sexual purity in his/her life.
3
From impurity to purity
4
Hebrews 4:15 “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin.”
5
Completely Human Jesus was completely human: He got tired, felt hunger and fear. He got angry and also felt joy. However, unlike us, Jesus never sinned. He is the only completely good person to have ever existed.
6
Completely Human Jesus was tempted in every area of his life, yet temptation did not overtake him. This is why Jesus is our purity. Though we may be sinful, in Christ all our evil is cast far away from us.
7
Sexuality God’s Gift From the beginning it was God’s purpose that we would be gendered sexed beings. Sexuality is essentially good. But through sin this good gift becomes abused and distorted.
8
Sexuality God’s Gift Sex is like a river: when the river flows within its limits it is something beautiful and life-giving. When the river flows beyond its limit, it becomes destructive and murderous.
9
Consequences “Every sin that a person commits is outside the body; but the fornicator sins against the body itself (1 Corinthians 6:18).”
10
Consequences Sexually Transmitted Diseases are a huge epidemic in the whole world. Pornography and sexual sins destroy millions of marital and familial relationships.
11
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 “Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, sodomites, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, revilers, robbers—none of these will inherit the kingdom of God.”
12
Sexual Sins Fornication Pornography Adultery Lesbianism Lust Sodomy
Bisexuality Bestiality Zoophilia Prostitution Pornography Lesbianism Sodomy Uncleanness Rape Homosexuality Incest Sexual abuse
13
The Great Exchange “For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you to God (1 Peter 3:18).”
14
The Great Exchange God today takes our weaknesses. Through his presence he makes us free from every chain or uncleanliness and gives us the power to live in victory. Let us come to God! Let us leave in his hands our uncleanliness and let us receive new purity!
15
Prayer Let us lift up our hands in prayer and let us receive healing and purification from all sexual sin and impurity. Ask God that he would restore your purity. Now make a covenant with God to live in holiness and sexual purity.
