Expectations Expectations:
Utilize the proper business applications to execute their daily responsibilities. Use system resources to develop solutions to issues and answer questions independently. When not able find the necessary guidance independently, trouble shoot with their local peers and manager. When peer and manager support cannot solve the problem, seek guidance from the appropriate corporate support group or person. “Thank you for the opportunity to present to you today. Employee Portal Click on the appropriate system application from the “My Applications” list or select from one of the many resources available in the Navigation Bar.

Policies and Procedures
Navigate using the Search Button or Bookmarked Outline. Every employee must be comfortable with finding information in the Policy and Procedures.

Forms Menu Many Clean Harbors Processes require Forms to be submitted in order to standardize the information gathering process. Forms are grouped by general category then assigned a form number. Click on the X selection to open the desired form.

Online Learning The Online Learning Center is an important tool used to provide employees with the resources and training to be successful. Every employee must review the Learning Institute Users Manual then log in to practice navigating through the application.

Support Center Many resource guides grouped by general category are available by a simple click of a hyperlink. Items available range from general business process documentation to very technical profile approval requirements. Click on the Business Process Outline and other links under the Customer Service Header to view and access system guides relevant to the CSR process.

Marketing Library Learn about Clean Harbors products and services through the Marketing Library. Many different kinds of documents are available through drop down searches or Keyword search.

Central File Storage Accessing the system drives can executed using a variety of methods. As shown, right click on the Start Menu, Select Explore and minimize your local C drive menu Or Double Click on My Computer from your Desktop.

Job on … (H Drive) and Location on … (I Drive)
Expand the menu by clicking on the + or double click on the selection to drill into the folder. Access the Customer Service Folder to find both system user guides and resource information. The Location selection (I Drive) contains shared folders with access based on your home office.

User on … (Q Drive) Use your central storage location to save electronic documents. Saving files directly on your PC or Laptop is risky. If your computer crashes, your files may be lost. Create your own sub folders to organize your files.

Conclusion Utilizing system resources saves time.
Develop your knowledge by researching issues and developing solutions independently. Use peer resources and the chain of command to review your options when problem solving.
