My five pieces of advice for any first year teacher are: Always remember that tomorrow is a new day. A new day for you, a new day for your colleagues and a new day for your students. Every one of your mistakes is a learning experience for you and for your students. Never be afraid to say I’m sorry or I don’t know. Find SOMEONE to vent about what is going on.
