Presidential Palace in Warsaw is a historic palace in the city center of Warsaw. Since 1994, the official residence of the President of the Polish Republic. The Presidential Palace is the largest palace in Warsaw. Its present appearance obtained in the early nineteenth century.

Kolumna Zygmunta Sigismund's Column (Polish: Kolumna Zygmunta), originally erected in 1644, is located in Castle Square, Warsaw,Poland and is one of Warsaw's most famous landmarks. The column and statue commemorate King Sigismund III Vasa, who in 1596 had moved Poland's capital from Kraków to Warsaw.

Kraków Cloth Hall It was once a major centre of international trade. Traveling merchants met there to discuss business and to barter. During its golden age in the 15th century, the hall was the source of a variety of exotic imports from the east – spices, silk, leather and wax – while Kraków itself exported textiles, lead and salt from the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

The Wawel Dragon The Wawel Dragon, also known as the Dragon of Wawel Hill, is a famous dragon in Polish folklore. In some stories the dragon lived before the founding of the city, when the area was inhabited by farmers. The dragon's cave below the castle is now a popular tourist stop.

Gdansk The Polish city on the Baltic coast with a population near The city lies on the southern edge of Gdansk Bay in a conurbation with the city of Gdynia,Sopot and suburban communities, which together form a metropolitan area called the Tricity. The city was close to the former late medieval boundary between West Slavic and Germanic seized lands. Gdansk is considered the symbolic place of the outbreak of World War II and the beginning of the fall of communism in Central Europe. In the city there are numerous historical buildings and cultural institutions.

Mikolaj Kopernik, Copernicus (astronomer)
Nicolaus Copernicus Mikołaj Kopernik 19 February 1473 – 24 May 1543) was a Renaissance mathematician and astronomer who formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than the Earth at the center of the universe. The publication of this model in his book On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres just before his death in 1543 is considered a major event in the history of science, triggering the Copernican Revolution and making an important contribution to the Scientific Revolution.
