4. Background and Purpose
Background: HRM BES and Fire and Aviation Management (FAM) worked collaboratively to develop a web-based medical clearance system to automate and streamline fitness test medical screening requirements for incident qualified employees. System benefits include:
Users will receive automatic notifications to expedite the medical clearance process.
Users will have the ability to track current medical clearance progress.
Electronic documentation storage reduces paper records.
eMedical can be accessed through a secure entry upon invitation by non-FS employee users, and through ConnectHR by FS employees.
Purpose: The eMedical demonstration aims to provide an overview of system features and answer questions regarding system functionality.
