7 New sectors 1. New sectors are entering the e-business arena, enhancing the sectoral work, including: a) Agriculture (for the tracking and tracing of food products); b) Government, for new e-government services to the private sector;

8 Other sectors are also renewing their engagement
a) Finance (developing end-to-end e-processing of a payment); b) Air freight industry (e-freight programme with UNeDocs);

9 Cross Border Reference Data Model
Proposed new projects Cross Border Reference Data Model UN/CEFACT and WCO will address how “To guide and support work in UN/CEFACT and the WCO related to the development of a Cross Border Reference Data Model to allow data interoperability for end-to-end trade transactions; and to support Single Window initiatives at both the national and regional level” Public electronic procurement project Review government requirements for electronic procurement documents. These include semantic interoperability within the public sector and between the public and private sector
