Development Process Staff, parents and pupils all asked for ideas for a new logo Request was for a ‘theme’ something which meant ‘Bunwell’ or ’Bunwell School’ One parent responded (thanks to them!) Pupils helped to determine a final theme of Woods and Trees The building was also prominent, but the design team could not find a unique ‘hook’ to match with education or a logo idea
2
Development Process The tree theme was put to a design team to come up with logo ideas. They had a pretty clear winner from their initial sketches and put forward the original logo below. We have previously put forward a logo in a similar way to Banham and received useful adjustments on the theme from stakeholders. The hope was to do the same this time
3
Development Process We have had some very positive responses from various groups of stakeholders. They can see the idea and like the approach, but gave no constructive feedback In terms of negative feedback, we have had small number of responses simply saying not to change as it ruins the history of the school There have so far been no constructive comments regarding this logo to produce any other versions for comparison. It is very expensive to produce three logos with three themes
4
Some key points The school does not have a historic logo, it is a relatively modern concept used mainly since the prominent use of computers. There is not one consistent school logo. The girl and boy have been on jumpers for approximately 5 years. The school building was drawn in 2004 we believe, but from an old photograph as there are not chimneys on the school.
5
Some key points More people have actually expressed a like for the logo, than a those who expressed a dislike Those who have expressed a dislike have been more vocal, but the consultation process is about listening to all, not just the negatives The history of the school is important and therefore something does need to be included in this regard. We need to conclude the consultation in order to inform the uniform supplier

Next steps Logo consultation concludes at 17:00 on Tuesday 27th June Requests for adjustments to these logo suggestions or constructive changes, which will be shared Unconstructive or rude comments will not be included as part of the consultation Final logo will be available shortly after and will be sent to uniform supplier for the items which require it Note: No change to the proposed logo is a possible outcome if no constructive feedback is actually received.
