II. Prepositional Phrase
A preposition goes with a pronoun or a noun (called the object of the preposition) to form a prepositional phrase. The preposition is almost always before the noun or pronoun and that is why it is called a preposition. A prepositional phrase is a group of words that begins with a preposition and ends with a noun/pronoun.
