What is Prayer? Prayer is a sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God, through Christ, in the strength and assistance of the Holy Spirit, for such things as God has promised, or according to His Word, for the good of the church, with submission in faith to the will of God - John Bunyan

The Proper Purpose of Prayer is to talk with God – not to impress men (Mt. 6:5-6)
The Proper Practice of Prayer is to seek God’s will confident He hears & answers – (Matt. 6:7-8) The Proper Pattern of Prayer – Mt. 6:9-13
