COLLEGE APPLICATION PROCESS
Complete all parts of the application for admission (online) Pay application fee High school transcript College admission test (ACT/SAT) Housing application Private/selective – may require additional paperwork See Ms. Matherne for letters of rec, counselor or secondary school report

REQUESTING TRANSCRIPTS
It is not necessary to request transcripts to be sent to LA public 4-year colleges/universities or community colleges. Students using the common application or applying to schools using SENDedu do not need to request a transcript. Mailed transcript – Complete transcript request form. Student must pay Mrs. Fox before transcript is mailed.

SENDING YOUR TEST SCORES TO SENDING YOUR TEST SCORES TO COLLEGES
If the student took the ACT/SAT and did not send scores to a college/university, then he/she will need to send them. Students must create an account on the website to send their scores. or Students on free and reduced lunch who have not used their 2 waivers and plan to retake the test should see their counselor .

COLLEGIATE ATHLETICS NCAA NAIA Register at www.eligibilitycenter.org
ACT/SAT code for NCAA is 9999 (Student must send scores officially) Fee waivers are available for students on free or reduced lunch. Counselor will upload transcript when notified through NCAA NAIA Register at ACT/SAT code for NAIA is 9876 (Student must send scores officially) Fee waivers are available for students on free or reduced lunch Final transcript is sent at completion of senior year.

ACADEMIC COMMON MARKET
A tuition savings program for college students who live in the 16 states that are members of the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB). If a public institution in Louisiana does not offer a degree program in your field of study, it may be possible to have the out of state tuition waived so you can pursue this program of study. ACM participating states are Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Create an FSA ID – Student and Parent This link provides videos to assist with the process of creating the FSA ID and completing the FAFSA Complete the FAFSA – Use 2016 tax info Opens October 1, 2017 Provide Ms. Matherne with copy of confirmation Some private and out of state schools require the CSS profile as well as the FAFSA. Check with college.
