2. Subjunctive in Adjective Clauses
Sometimes you use an entire clause to describe a noun. This is called an adjective clause.
When you have a specific person or thing in mind, you use the indicative.
Este libro tiene un artículo que habla sobre los mayas.

3. Subjunctive in Adjective Clauses
If you don´t have a specific person or thing in mind, or if you are not sure the person exists, you use the present subjunctive. Sometimes cualquier(a) is used in these expressions.

Busco un libro que tenga un artículo sobre los mayas.
(I’m looking for a book that has an article about the mayas)
Escoge cualquier cosa que te guste.
(Choose whatever thing you like)

5. Subjunctive in Adjective Clauses
You also use the subjunctive in an adjective clause when it describes a negative word such as nadie, nada, or ninguno(a).
No hay nadie que conozca los símbolos aztecas.
(There is no one who is familiar with the Aztec symbols)

6. Subjunctive in Adjective Clauses
To refer to something or someone unknown in the past, you can use the present perfect subjunctive.
Busco una joven que haya estudiado arqueología. (I’m looking for a young person who has studied archeology)
No hay nadie que haya visto un extraterrestre. (There is no one who has seen an extra-terrestrial)
