5. 4 In southern Germany and Austria, Saint Nicklaus comes on December 6th to put presents and candy in the shoes of good little girls and boys. Many cities have parades for him--- but Saint Nicklaus does not come alone!

6. 5 Krampus or Knecht Ruprecht is a mean guy who comes with Krampus to punish the naughty children! Hes pretty scary looking!
