1. Oysters are in season from September to next April. They are especially good in February because they are rich in fat and glycogen. The months when oysters are in season have the alphabet ‘R’ in their names! 2. Do not eat raw oysters from May to August! It’s the spawning season for oysters so they are not tasty and have toxin. Not only oysters but also other seafood should not be eaten raw from May to October because the temperature of the sea rises and it’s easy for the seafood to rot. 10 * How to Make Oyster Noodle Soup *
1. Cut the bottom of the bok choy and cut it in half. 2. Slice the garlic cloves as thin as 0.3cm. 3. Shred the onion as thin as 0.5cm. 4. Cut the zucchini in quarters and get rid of the seeds. Slice the zucchini and carrot into rectangles of 1x0.3x5cm. 5. Tear off the wood ear into little bites. 6. Heat the pan, drizzle the oil, and stir-fry the garlic first. 7. When the garlic turns brown, add the onion, zucchini, carrot, the stalk of bok choy, and wood ear. 8. When all the vegetables start to mingle, pour the water and add the stock powder. Boil for 2 min. 9. Then add the oysters and the leaves of the bok choy and boil for 1 more min. 10. Boil the noodles for 3 min., drain them and place them in a bowl. 11. Pour the soup onto the noodles and enjoy!!
