5. Math Goals Add and subtract within 100 Skip count by 5’s, 10’s, 100’s
Read and write numbers within 1,000
Measure using inches, feet, centimeters, and meters

8. Classroom Behavior
Each class will utilize a SOCIAL CONTRACT. This will be tied to Classroom Dojo.
Dojo will be utilized mainly for communication.

9. How to Be Successful
Attend class daily and on time (September is Attendance Awareness Month)
Complete all homework and assignments (We only want quality work!)
Take personal RESPONSIBILITY
Stay on task
Ask questions if you don’t understand!!
Earn a “C” or higher in all subjects

Reading is the best method to increase Lexile Levels.

10. How You Can Help Your Child Become a Proficient Reader
Take your child to a local library or bookstore
Ask your students what they read and learned after school EVERY DAY!
Ask them questions about what they’re learning in class

11. Parent Involvement PTA (joining is required!!)
Volunteer (a minimum of 4 hours per quarter)!! Volunteer hours have to be recorded on the PTA page.
Make sure we have up-to-date contact information (phone numbers and addresses)
