Biological and microbial waste safely disposed of
NOTE:Place all biological and microbial waste into medical waste boxes that are available in the relevant areas in the laboratory.

Place all sharps in a designated resistant biohazard sharps container. Do not bend, break or recap needles.
Dispose of broken glassware as described in procedures for glassware disposal.
Biological waste, should be disposed of in boxes made from cardboard, and which are assembled on site. lined with a plastic bag

Once the bag is 3/4 full, seal with specially marked bio‑hazard tape purchased from the company concerned. Seal the lid securely with the same tape.
