Volunteers wanted for brain scan!
General recruitment flier; Appendix 1_Version 1 Volunteers wanted for brain scan! The Departments of Child Psychiatry and Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Science at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN), King’s College London, are looking for right-handed male volunteers with ADHD between years of age to participate in a research project. The project is studying areas that may cause difficulties for some people with ADHD, such as attention, timing and decision-making. This is not a treatment trial and participation in this project won’t help you directly. However, we hope that this project will help us better understand these difficulties and develop ways of helping people with ADHD who may have problems in some of these areas. The project includes taking pictures of your brain with a brain scan, playing some computer games during the brain scan, some questionnaires, and a saliva or blood test. A brain scan is a painless procedure with no known side effects. We’ll ask your permission to let your GP know if you decide to participate in this project. We will pay participants for their help and travel expenses and will send you a fun colour picture of your brain from your scan. If you have any questions, please contact Dr Clodagh Murphy at the IoPPN: or Many thanks for your help
