A complex case may happen …

2.11.1.3 Recording Copyright Dates (2014 April release)
Note: D does not indicate the equal sign needed for “copyright date” to differentiate two calendar years. We just assume that we follow the general principle of using the equal sign in ISBD.
9
Related rules for copyright date: 2.11 revised in 2014 April release
At UW, copyright is a core element. Its importance has been recognized by more publishers, vendors, and library communities during ALA meetings and discussions.

Publisher’s Name 2014 April release
13
: Added paragraph to indicate that a publisher’s name may be represented by a characterizing word or phrase (e.g. Publisher to His Majesty) Note: there is no example to illustrate this new statement, e.g. publisher to His Majesty, in the RDA Toolkit. The note in the LC summary table is more helpful.
14
—Relocated optional omission to omit levels in a corporate hierarchy when recording a publisher’s name (formerly at ) and added reference to recoding the publisher as a relationship in Chapter 21; same for and for distributor’s and manufacturer’s names

2015 February release
39
Reproductions (LC-PCC PS for 1.11)
Just like PN, this is a different approach from RDA and the outcome of 2013 PCC Reproductions TF report. For microform reproductions of print resources, POD (print on demand) and photocopies only, go to RDA for other types of resources. For microform serials, CONSER CCM editing group is working on revisions, which may be done in summer. There are remaining issues to resolve for certain cases. Compilation vs. Collaboration
Examples

Collaboration
61
Art catalog compilation
All the information of art catalogs is subject to change since ARLIS Cataloging Advisory Committee is writing a proposal now. Watch out for new rules on this category! to revise the PS for RDA 25.1 to add “artist monographs or exhibition catalogs or art catalogs to the list of exclusions to the rule in this section instructing catalogers to add a conventional collective title (CCT) for related works in compilations, e.g. Matisse, Henri, Works. Selections. CAC, in general, feels that the vast majority of art publications are compilations of, or commentary on, artist’s works. This renders the addition of such CCTs, to nearly all our catalog records, to be Find-identify-select-obtain. CCT with Reproduction—technically more accurate, is not an acceptable option. The medium of the works compiled in place of “Works” 100 1 Jex, Garnet W., $t Watercolor paintings. $k Selections

Both LC-PCC PS for and are under review by the PCC SCS to update current rules/PSs by using repeated 250 to reflect edition change.
