Inspire2Care model aims at: Preventing avoidable disabilities among children and adults Improving quality of lives of persons with disabilities and their families through CBR

Roles of Stakeholders Primary Stakeholders Need identification
Develop Plan for rehabilitation of each individual person with disabilities Organize in Self help groups Lobby and advocate with all community level stakeholders to make enabling environment and to mobilize resources

Community level stakeholders
Identification of person with disabilities Allocated fund for program at local level- at least USD Implement plan of CBR Monitoring the program Ensure participation of persons with disabilities in all developmental activities Construct disability friendly infrastructures Fund comes from VDC office, DDC office, local people

District level stakeholders
Create environment in the district to implement CBR program Allocate fund for CBR program from district line agencies Monitor and evaluate the program

Central level stakeholders
Develop policy and guidelines to implement CBR in the country Create employment opportunities for persons with disabilities Allocate budget for CBR program in the country Support to implement program in the districts

Results Persons with disabilities are included in government local community structures i.e. School Management Committee, Health Facility Management and Operation committee, Child Clubs and other committees Increased participation of persons with disabilities from need identification to benefit sharing- Leading towards inclusive society Developed profile and plan for 2542 persons with disabilities. Livelihood program for persons with disabilities and their families is going on in every community through self help group Fund has been generated at local level- around USD 2,500 per year in every village (USD 70,000 in the year 2016)

Results contd… Inclusive education has been promoted in the community
Disability friendly constructions (schools, health post) 500 plus persons with disabilities benefitted from employment opportunities Disability act and CBR guideline in the verge of amendment.
