2 This is what the default Storyline player will look like
This is what the default Storyline player will look like. The Menu is a must have (offers user a glimpse of where they are/what’s ahead, etc.). There is also the resource tab at the top right (you can attach files for download by the user).

3 To add a glossary and/or notes you must edit the player features by selecting “Player” (top right of your screen) You must be sure to then select the Glossary and/or Notes to be viewable. Default is off.

4 To add glossary items, choose “Glossary” in the player editor and follow the prompts to add the term and definition!

5 Notes are added from a tab in your timeline
Notes are added from a tab in your timeline. Notes appear ONLY on the slide you added the notes to.

6 With glossary and notes added, the player looks like this
With glossary and notes added, the player looks like this. Remember if/when adding: Glossary is viewable (all terms) at all times, regardless of which slide the user is on Notes are viewable only on the slide where the notes are made Resources are viewable (all files) at all times, regardless of which slide the user is on

7 A note on the exit bumper in the template:
The links in red are possible extras. These are just ideas… Perhaps a user can choose to “Take the Quiz” at the end of the unit/module – you would add a trigger to a scene or slide with a quiz you created. “Return to modules page” is an idea if you have a website with a number of modules. You enter the url of this page in the first trigger and the second trigger closes the module. “Exit the Module” simply closes the Storyline window.
