2 Zealously pursue good works, honoring Christ as Lord, respectfully defending your hope.
Spiritual Life Principle:

3 Be Zealous for Good- Works!
Those who do good are not usually persecuted. BUT, if they are, they are blessed. Ties in to 2:12, “Keep your conduct honorable…” We are called to Good Works: Titus 2:14; Ephes. 2:10; 1 Tim. 5:25; 1 Tim. 6:18; Titus 2:7; Heb. 10:24. Be Zealous for Good- Works!

4 Exalt Jesus in your personal life.
Do Not Live in Fear of Persecution, Matt. 10:28. RATHER, Regard Jesus as Holy in your heart, v. 15. Exalting Jesus is more than a commitment to truth. It is treating Him as holy in all our lives. Exalt Jesus in your personal life.

5 Be Prepared, know how to answer all men, 2 Tim. 4:3, Col. 4:6.
“For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.” Defend Your Hope.
